Launched at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in London in 2014, Lightscape has sold out year after year across the U.K. Lightscape at Brooklyn Botanic Garden runs on select dates from Novemthrough January 9, 2022.

A series of new light-based artworks by local artists will be installed in the Plant Family Collection. More than 18 distinct works of light art will be on view, among them the Cathedral of Light tunnel, a Fire Garden on Lily Pool Terrace, and the Field of Light, an animated light installation covering Cherry Esplanade and visible from the Robert W. Monumental light installations and colorful light displays highlighting the GardenвЂ™s trees, landscapes, and architecture will guide guests through the Garden. Lightscape celebrates the beauty of nature in winter with a festive one-mile trail winding through BBGвЂ™s 52-acre landscape, animated by dazzling light, color, and sound. Brooklyn, NY-Brooklyn Botanic Garden announces Lightscape, a new after-dark, illuminated spectacular at BBG this winter.
